I'm in Australia, so this may vary, but English, maths A and maths B were needed for entry as a psychology major in a Bachelor of Science degree. There is a lot of research work, so science subjects that will give you a good understanding of how scientific research is conducted would also be an advantage.
In high school you should take all of the core subjects, including math, science, english, physics, chemistry and Biology, as this will maximize the options you will have when you are ready to strat university or college. This way, if you decide to pursue a career option other than psychology you will have the option. A solid science background in high school will allow you to begin a journey towards any profession once in university or college, including chiropractic, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, dentistry, law, engineering, etc. If you decide that art or music is more your style, a science background in highschool will not preclude you from taking art or music, etc. in university or college, thus sciences in highschool are always a good option.
Once in university or college, the courses you choose to take will (and should) reflect the career you are aiming for. If becoming a psychologist is your dream, a bachelor of science with a major in psychology would be a good start. This is a four-year program, and will give you the prerequisites needed to continue your journey towards becoming a psychologist. The next step required to becoming a psychologist is completing a masters of science degree with a major in psychology. This is a two-year program that, again, will give you more of the prerequisites required to be a psychologist. There are some positions (careers) involved with psychology that only require a masters degreee, so you may choose to stop here. But, if becoming a licensed psychologist is your dream, your next step would be to complete a Doctorate (PhD) in psychology. This is a three to five-year program, that when completed would allow you to write the certification exams required to become a practicing psychologist.
