Take the Uptown C train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to 59th Street-Columbus Circle, 72nd Street, 81st Street, 86th Street, 96th Street, 103rd Street or 110th Street.
Central Park runs south to north from 59th Street to 110th Street, and west to east from 8th Avenue to 5th Avenue. The portion of 59th Street that borders the park is called Central Park South, the portion of 110th Street that borders the park is called Central Park North, and the portion of 8th Avenue that borders the park is called Central Park West. However, for some reason, the portion of 5th Avenue that borders the park is not called Central Park East.
The C train runs up and down 8th Avenue/Central Park West, so any of these stops -- 59th, 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd, 110th -- will drop you off right across the street from the west side of the park.
If you want to go to the east side of the park, you can take the Uptown 1-2-3 (the red line), 1 stop, from 34th Street-Penn Station to 42nd Street-Times Square. Transfer at Times Square to the Uptown Q train (of the N-R-Q-W, the yellow line) and take the Q to 5th Avenue-59th Street (the southeast corner of the park).
If you want to go to the north end of the park, you can take the C to 110th Street (at the northwest corner of the park). Or, you can take the Uptown 3 train from 34th Street-Penn Station to 110th Street-Central Park North. This will drop you off at the north end of the park, about halfway between the west and east side.

"Midtown" technically refers only to midtown Manhattan on the East Side (East 42th Street to East 59th Street). On the west side, the area from West 42th to West 59th is known as Hell's Kitchen (the new, sanitized, gentrified name for the neighborhood is Clinton, but us "real" New Yorkers will never stop calling it Hell's Kitchen).
Even though the term "Midtown" refers only to the East Side, a lot of people say "Midtown" when they really mean Hell's Kitchen (or, they might call it "Midtown West"). So, I will provide directions from both the East Side and the West Side, just in case you meant the West Side.
From Midtown East:
1) Take the Downtown 4-5-6 (the dark green line) to East 42nd Street (Grand Central Station).
2) At Grand Central, transfer to the S shuttle train(color code grey) west across 42nd Street, from Grand Central (East 42nd) to Times Square (West 42nd).
3) At the Times Square Station, transfer to the Downtown 1-2-3 (the red line). Take the 1-2-3 to Chambers Street. Chambers Street is just a little bit north of Battery Park. The 2 and 3 are express trains, and the 1 is a local train, but all three of them stop at Chambers Street.
From Midtown West (Hell's Kitchen aka Clinton), there are three options. You can take the Downtown 1-2-3 to Chambers Street. Or, you can take the A or the C (of the A-C-E, the blue line) to Chambers Street. Note that the Chambers Street stop on the 1-2-3 and the Chambers Street stop on the A and C are two different stations. The Chambers Street stop on the 1-2-3 is a few blocks west of the Chambers Street stop on the A and C.
However, your best bet would be to take the Downtown E train to its last stop, the World Trade Center Station. It will drop you off closer to Battery Park than the 1-2-3 or the A and C.
Even if you are coming from the East Side, you can still take the Downtown E train, if you wish. You can transfer to the A-C-E line at Times Square (West 42nd). You will just have to walk through a long underground tunnel to get to it, as the A-C-E line goes up and down 8th Avenue, while the Times Square Station (and the 1-2-3 line) are at 7th Avenue.

Take the Downtown 1 (of the 1-2-3, the red line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to the end of the line, South Ferry. Battery Park is right across the street from the South Ferry Station.
The 1 is a local train. To make it a shorter trip, you may want to take the Downtown 2 or 3 express trains from 34th Street-Penn Station to Chambers Street. It's only 2 stops: Penn Station ---> 14th Street ---> Chambers Street. Then transfer at Chambers Street to the Downtown 1, 2 stops, to South Ferry (it would be 3 stops, but the Cortlandt Street Station is temporarily closed).
Take the Downtown 6 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line), 1 stop, from 68th Street-Hunter College (at Lexington Avenue) to 59th Street.
Transfer at 59th Street to the Downtown 4 or 5express trains. Take the Downtown 4 or 5 to Bowling Green (at Broadway). The Bowling Green station is just above Battery Park.
If you are coming from the Redline...Take it to park Street...Transfer to the green line and then take the green line to Kenmore Square

The best place to park while visiting NYC is at your hotel. If you can leave your car at the hotel, you can take a taxi or the subway to where you need to go.
Take the Uptown E train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to Court Square.
each subway tile is .13 of a sq. foot so you will need 831 pcs. to cover 108 sf.
Like, 20 to 30 minutes. Forty minutes to an hour in bad traffic. It about 3.5 miles pretty much straight Uptown.
If your battery is dead then you are going nowhere therefore why would you need to take the car out of park? Get a jump start from another car with a good battery and then you can start your car and drive to the nearest battery dealer and buy a new battery if need be. Otherwise just put a battery charger on your battery and let it fully charge.
There are three ways to get from Grand Central Station to Madison Square Garden. The first option would be a 20 minute walk. The second option would be to take a taxi. The third option would be to take the subway.
It was scheduled to take place in Tompkins Square Park

Very. Take a cab or a subway. (Just cos of the traffic- so much you can get stuck for hours and then there's really nowhere to park.)
