There are several recruiting software packages available for setting up available positions so that they can be advertised and have Job Applications associated with them. The company needs to have a bank of specific job descriptions so that they do not have to be written over and over again. The position can to be specified by code, pay grade or other quality. Supervisors can go online to set up a requisition for the job description, edit an advertisement and accept applicants for interviews. Some of these programs will arrange interviews, send out "sorry" letters and email applicants for more specific information (w-4 withholding, I-9s to verify employment and other documents) before hiring.
