Suppose the table has two columns, one for a variable X and the other for a variable Y. Suppose xi is associated with yi for i = 2, 3, etc. If, y1 - yj = k(x1 - xj) where k is the same constant for each index j, then the equation is linear. If the values of X are evenly spaced, the task is easy. All you need check is that the values of Y are also evenly spaced. But the Xs may not be evenly spaced.
In database, Table refers to a structure which contains rows and columns. Data can be stored in these rows and columns in arranged manner.
Only 17 and 18.
table
A table in a database contains a collection of records (or rows). Each record contains one or more fields (or columns).
Periodic table contains elements arranged in rows and columns. It is done according to increasing atomic number.
In information technology / database technology this would be a data table. Conceptually, think of it as a spread sheet. Each row contains a set of columns. The values in the columns usually represent a single instantiation of a entity.
You cannot have a table without columns. Columns are what make up the structure of a table. It would be like a house without walls.
There are 18 columns.

The periodic table contains seven rows of elements. The lanthanide series belongs to row six as elements 57-71. The actinide series belongs to row seven as elements 89-103.
