I believe that would be a compromise.
When you have an argument it usually is about a disagreement. If someone says something and you don't agree with it, you both will start saying things back and forth to make your opinion better (this is an argument) Arguments can go on forever, the best way to end an argument is with a conclusion. Something you both can agree on.
