material items; they like a basking lamp with a dry dock to sunbathe maybe rocks but no pebbles because they might swallow them!
most fish will be eaten if you put them together but koi will be ok as long as it is about the same size as the turtle. ghost shrimp and other little aquatic organisms that are cheap to replace would also be nice but if you dont want them eaten then you would want one that your turtle will not be able to bit or fit in his/her mouth
Heck no! Unless you prefer the headless variety of turtle for a pet.
A red eared turtle's temp needs to be changed every once in a while. During the day, it needs to be between 75 and 85. During the night it should be 70 and 75. When they are basking, or bathing in the sun, it should be bewtween 90 and 95. Be sure to place a thermomiter near the basking area and aquarium thermomitor under the water. Hope this helps!
The aquarium should at least be by 24 (length) x 12 (width) x 16 (height)
ya they can but not a salamander with a snapper turtle the snapper will eat it
Every 6 months you should take the Red Eared Slider Turtle to the vet
You shouldn't catch a turtle for a pet, you should buy one bred in captivity. It's better for the turtle.
Yes, red eared sliders do hibernate only in the winter and if you keep your turtle inside then it should not hibernate if you keep your turtles warm.
No. A "two-eared" llama is a normal llama. A turtle is definitely not a llama; it's a reptile that is quite unlike a llama.
You should feed them aquatic turtle food, such as Reptomin Floating Food Sticks.
No. Eventually the turtle will kill the catfish.
yes, but it won't attack the big red eared because its bigger. also, it won't dare if the two are family
