I'm not sure if its a soft boot but Ctrl+Alt+Del will reboot the machine when using DOS. It probably is a soft boot.
ctrl alt and delete all at the same time
1. Switch ON the computer. 2. Press F2 3. Select the drive you're using to boot.
Sometimes you can open your boot by pressing the button on the boot. If that doesn't work you need to take the key out of the ignition, and press the button on the remote. You will have the central locking button on your centre console. A single press will lock and unlock the doors only. Now you press it for more than 2 seconds, which will unlock everything including the boot. Then you can just get out and push the button on the boot to open. Using this, now you don't have to turn the car off to open your boot anymore.
open the comp using safe boot when you press the button to turn on the PC press and hold f8 until the boot up screen appears and then choose safe boot and then install the anti virus program and reboot as normal
As many of you probably have experienced too, Peugeot has weird locking system where sometimes you can open your boot by pressing the button on the boot or sometimes that doesn't work so you need to take the key out of the ignition, and press the button on the remote which is pain, and guess what? I left my car keys in the boot and closed.I went real panic but this is what you do. You will have the central locking button on your centre console. A single press will lock and unlock the doors only. Now you press it for more than 2 seconds, which will unlock everything including boot. Then you can just get out and push the button on the boot to open. Using this, now you don't have to turn the car off to open you boot anymore!

A soft boot should be used on your computer any time that you press restart after installing updates, or programs. A soft boot is when you allow all programs to close before you restart. The only time you would use a hard boot is when you have to restart without allowing programs to close first.
