Most older children young teenagers (ages 10-14) need 8 and a half to 9 and a half hours sleep, If your child goes to school on a school night around 9-10 Oclock,
exceptions can be made if in the middle of a film/movie you could allow 10-30 minutes delay... on weekends around 9.30 to 11 could be an excitable and healthy bedtime. Sleepovers/Birthdays/Christmas can have a later bedtime especially if it's on the week-end....

For 9-12 years old, about 8 or so hours of sleep, but that's all i know.
You should probably stop

A queen bed is big.. i think he would be the only one sleeping on it...
You should be very careful at any time on a tanning bed. A ten-year-old girl in Wales has recently burned herself so badly that she will have to keep out of the sun for the next ten years.
