When attending a concert you want to avoid having a lot of things to keep track of. This will leave you free to enjoy the music without worrying about where your purse, sweater or whatever is. You should have * Money. Bring enough to get in (if you don't already have tickets), get something to drink (you might get thirsty and regret not planning for that $5 bottle of water) and get home if you're tired afterward or something happens. * Ticket. Forgetting your ticket and making an emergency trip home or having to pay a second time to get in will put a definite damper on your evening. * Keys. It's nice to be able to get back into your house afterward. * Cell phone. It's good to have in case of emergency or if you want poor-quality pictures of the band. * ID. If the venue is restricted by age you'll need it to prove that you're legal. If you need to bring a coat or sweater try to leave it at the coat check so that it isn't hampering your movement and ease of mind. It'll make it a little more difficult to leave it you stay right til the end and will probably set you back a couple of bucks but it is worth it. This is the bare minimum that you need to bring to a concert. It should all fit in your pockets or bra (if you identify as female and wear one), which makes access less easy but keeps it safe.
