Foot cramps are incredibly uncomfortable - I would know!

As a runner, I know the feeling well, but I have also come to know the reason for such cramps.

Often, cramps are a hint to the body that it is dehydrated. Drink lots of water! They can also be caused by a lack of circulation in the feet (it takes blood the longest to reach the feet because they are so far from the heart), general tiredness, low amounts of potassium in the body, or low oxygen in the body (sometimes caused by Diabetes).

Get all the necessary vitamins into your diet, drink lots of water, wear comfortable shoes, and you should be fine!
