Typically if the turn signal lamp on the dashboard stays on (i.e. does not blink), it means you have a burned out turn signal bulb on either the front or rear of the car. This is especially true if it happens only on one side (i.e. left or right turn signal). If the problem exists on both sides of the vehicle, check your flasher unit.
Sounds like you have a short in your wiring harness for your rear lights. As for your dash turn signal light, your dummy light is just acting up. You probably need a new wiring harness for your rear lights.
An open ground or a short to ground when the signal is on. Usually a bad bulb.
Turn signal flasher relay is defective. Is located under the dash, driver's side.
Try pushing the hazard light switch on steering column repeatedly. I had a strange problem with my hazards once and this fixed it for now. I think my problem was the signals not working though....
in dash lights
Okay, first turn the signal on. The look to see if the lights are blenking If the outside lights work then the little light in the dash is out. If the lights outside don't work you either wire problems or you need to replace the light socket. Don't forget to check the signal flasher relay.
Check the fuses.
If the turn signals in the dash don't work, what about the outside front and rear turn signals? Working? Not working? If it's not working, replace the turn signal relay under the dash.
sounds to me like your turn signal switch. use a test light to see if power is being interupted
When the dash lights dim on the Nissan Pulsar SS 99 with the use of the turn signal, it is usually an indication of a bulb burned out in the turn signals. It can also mean that the flasher is bad and taking too much juice.
Trun signal lights do not come on at all not on dash or outside
Which light is staying on?
