Dentists sometimes advise the patient to not take aspirin or any other anti inflamatory meds such as ibuprofen, Aleve, etc. since they can cause more bleeding. You may want to ask your dentist if you can take Tylenol (acetominophen) about an hour before the procedure. Tooth extractions are not at all as painful as they used to be; dentistry has advanced a lot in recent years. Your dentist may also give you something to take for any pain you may have after the extraction, as well as post- op instructions.
Follow the post surgical instructions given by the Oral Surgeon or Dentist who performed the procedure. The instructions may differ depending on the type of extraction, whether or not stitches are present, or the possibility of complications based on an individual's own dental history.
do not eat anything at least 12 hours from surgery especially if they put you to sleep during it!!! the medicine they use to put you under will make you quite nauseous afterwards. My appointment was at 8am, and i stopped eating at 6:30 pm the night before, and i still threw up once. for you last meal, do not have anything rich or with dairy in it because it mixes bad with the medicine. wear comfy clothes and wear a short sleeve shirt there so they can take your blood pressure and insert an IV in easier.
Hmm, in my case as well as my mother and brother's, we were told not to eat or drink anything at least six hours before the surgery, because if you ate beforehand and had anesthetic put into you, it could cause a gag reflex and make you vomit. You can start up again with consuming soft foods, water, and the such after the surgery. I know I didn't drink anything after 10:30 PM the night before mine were taken out. (My appointment was at 10 AM.)
My sister has had her wisdom teeth removed before and it hurt afterward. What you can do to help your mouth not hurt after wisdom teeth removal is put iced peas or a freeze pop on the side of your mouth. Keep them there for at least a half hour. By the time you take the freeze pop or iced peas off of the side of your mouth, it will be numb, so you don't feel anything. Hoped that helped.
Jana and Jill had their wisdom teeth removed.
For me, they put my braces on, not putting brackets on the ones being pulled, they few months later they pulled out the 4 wisdom teeth.
yes
you probly can but for me personally i wouldnt could there could be a inncedient
u got your wisdom teeth pulled out dummy
I find the fastest way is just to sleep it off.
Yes
they are slimy because you are a complete idiot
I don't know if it's OK. I have braces myself and my wisdom teeth are coming in right now. Unfortunatly, I have to get them pulled, if anything that's what would happen. You should wait until the wisdom teeth come in, and then get them pulled, because the metal bands may not fit around the wisdom teeth, and most people have more comfort when their wisdom teeth are pulled. I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.
Normal
