The female needs to be removed immedialtly before she is killed by the male. The male will look after the ova until they develop into free swimming fry then he needs to be removed before he eats the fry. You will then need food for the fry, so now is the time to start making 'Infusoria cultures' for the frys' first food and get 'Micro worm/Brine shrimp cultures' going for later. Failing that, you will need to get some specialised fry food for egg layers from your local pet shop.

Betta's eat eggs! You do not do anything. Betta's very likely will eat tiny eggs. That is just the way they are and there is nothing you can do to change that. I think you may need to add onto this question because it really does not make very much sense. Good luck with whatever you are talking about!!

what you want to do after a egg hatches is put in a special incubator because they cannot make their own heat yet. make sure you feed them immediately after they hatch do not worry about feeding them milk because they don't eat it. do not throw away the egg shell because inside you will see leftover yolk. the chick will immediately want to eat that first.
