No. The parents will eat the babies.
I don't know. I'm 98% sure that they don't. I've seen this book and it says that the female tends to the young for something weeks. But male hamsters will eat the babies. A kid at my school said that the rat dad ate one of his babies so I'm sure that male hamsters will, too.
No Syrian hamsters live on their own. Dwarf hamsters eat insects they don't hunt.
never ever put syrian or dwarf hamsters cannot be put together because they fight but boys and girls do not (but they have babies obviously!) they fight and it can lead to death!!! :(so dont do it!!! Edit: Actually, male and female hamsters will also fight in between mating and the male will eat the babies or stress out the mother so much that she will eat them. Hamsters are solitary creatures by nature and so it is best to keep them apart once they aren't babies anymore.
Hamsters do eat their babies, only because they are scared in the envirement they are in. Hamsters are very safe when it occures to a new born , they will think the envirement is not safe, and will eat their babies so thy don't have to suffer in aything. Your WelcomeANSWER: YES, THEY DO EAT THEIR BABIES because the parents eat them for protein or meat not so sure about the last one though.but its so sad
Seperate them by gender when the babies are three weeks. (Do not touch them before three weeks, or else the parents will eat them!)
Yes, the father teddy bear hamsters do eat their babies so if your hamster has babies separate the male from them.
