Well either you need to update your PSP system so it may be able to read the game or you need to take it back to the place you got it from
Something could be wrong with the psp.. or are you sure it isn't a PSP Go specific game? As a new hand-held console, I'm sure it would have better graphics than the old PSP, causing the game you have not to start up.
the game has to be game share compatible. you basically got to gameshare on your psp and then your friend loads the game up n his psp.
play the ps3 games in psp they will converted to psp games
You can copy games from one PSP memory stick to computer and then copy to another PSP's memory stick. Make sure you put the game on the folder 'GAME' on the memory stick.
*.cso and *.iso are the formats of the psp games
first does your PSP already have custom firmware? If it does I have no Idea what is wrong but if it doesn't then you need a Pandora battery and a Magic Memory Stick
it says reading game and it has od lines
You need Custom Firmware to start games, if you have that, make sure your GAME folder kernel is set to the correct version or you have gPsp in the GAME150 folder.
ad hoc function under games in xmb it says game sharing
put the game in and go to game it it says umd or ump click then you play
not if it says for psp only, its designed for you to download it from the ps3 then stick it straight onto the psp
One possible answer could be that you didn't save the pictures into a file format that the psp can read, try looking at the file format and then look at the psp compatible files.
There is no official PSP game. However, you could try playing online on the PSP if you hve internet connection. I am not sure if this works however.
well to get games you need to have playstation shop by updating your psp then you can get free game demos or full games (not free) .
$169.99
It could be the lazer that reads the disc is broken or damaged. Or the issue could be the umd itself or the firmware. I'd say send it in to sony and get it repaired. If your psp knows the umd is there but won't let you start the game the chances are the lazer is damaged or the disc is too dirty. If it lets you start the game then crashes and says the umd can't be read then could be the disc reader or the disc. First try cleaning the umd if that doesn't help then it's probably the psp. My psp 3000 has never had that but if the problem is the psp, send it in.
The PS2 console is, if a PS2 game could be run on a PSP the battery would not last 5 minutes and You could not hold the PSP from the heat of running the game. I have both (PlayStation 2, Psp 1000, and Psp Go) and no doubt the Psp is by far more successful, has more features, and on occasion better graphics.
