fleas are like head lice or nits for humans, they don't do much damage but they are very itchy. it would be best for your dog if you bought some flea treatment on. i would recommend frontline plus.
Give your dog a bath, while getting a thin bristled comb to scrape some off her/him.
put frontline plus on every month and don't forget because most people miss what day or date they have to put it on.
Good luck:)
I have dog that is allergic to fleas nd she scratches constantly even when we can see no visible fleas, she also pulls out her hair, she also feels like she is constantly sweating this is not sweat, it is oils that the dogs body is producing to help rid itself of the fleas and moisten her skin, they sometimes get raw sores on their skin from scratching and then it scabs over and they look awful, and feel even worse. You can take the dog to vet and get an antihistamine and steriod and this helps tremendously you will see a diffrence in your pet in just a couple of days. If vet care is not an option for you our vet recommended childrens benadry depending on the size of the dog how much to give them, our dog weighs approx. 12 lbs. and we were told to give her 1/2 of a childs dose which is be 2.5 ml. or a 1/2 tsp. every 12 hrs. hope this helps
Bite them, and a severe flea infestation can cause anemia in dogs.
You should give a bath and let him dry. After that put flee remover on its neck.
There are special flea shampoos that you can buy and give your dog a bath with that shampoo.
Hi, no dogs can't die from to many fleas, go to a local vet and get some cream for dog fleas! Easy
A dog fleas habitat is the dog itself.

Why not try flea powder or give your dog a bath using flea shampoo to get rid of your dog's fleas?
yes, a house dog could get fleas...of course you go outside and walk around, your shoes touch the ground and your clothing picks up many things. When you get home, fleas can be on what your wearing and transferr to your dog. Also when you like your dog outside, you dog can catch fleas as well.
