If your dog eats bullion cubes, mine eat 2 boxes (we couldn't recall how full each box was), you'll notice they will drink an inordinate amount of water. In 16 hours, I've had to refill a 4 quart pot 2.5x. So she needs to have access to outside to pass all that water.
I was cautious to feed her while she was flushing her system, but now I'm of the mind that food will help.
Other than that there have been no other adverse effects from the bullion. An internet search shows numerous recommendations to give dogs bullion when they won't drink water b/c of vomiting or diarrhea. So perhaps she was self medicating ;/

Cut-out dog biscuits with rolled oats, cornmeal and cheddar cheese. You can change the flavor of these by substituting chicken bouillon for the beef. Any dog will love these.
