to be honest, it could be absolutely anything. The traditional route is probably safest e.g. nice perfume (if you're not sure which one,then check with a female shopping assitant), ten red roses (or any flowers really, as long as they look like thought has gone into it), a nice box of chocs (these are always best in a heart shaped, posh looking box, but a nice large tin of roses, or a box of celebrations is still a good idea for a cheaper option), jewellry is good too (a promise ring, a necklace with a heart on it, some really sweet earrings if her ears are peirced-but always check first), a teddy bear is nice too (some kind of small teddy with a heart on it, or a me to you bear, or one with her name embroidered on it). Personalised gifts are great aswell- necklaces, cards, rings, bears, chocolate, a statuette- with her name on it, or your name and hers twined together, or you love her, or i love you girls name. A girl is gonna absolutely love anything that has any thought put into it-so definitely try to make it look very expensive, or very thoughtful, or even better:both. However, if you know that the girl is not into any of the above, and would rather have or would appreciate more a DVD or game, or even a song or piece of music off of iTunes, then obviously go for that option. The thing is, you are the one who she expects to listen when she talks when no-one else does, and the one who she would trust with her life. You are the one who she thinks knows everything about her, so you'd better not get her a ring if she's told you that she hates jewellry, or a box of chocs or a heart shaped biscuit with her name iced onto it if she's on a diet. At the end of the day: the choice is yours. It's completely up to you. As long as you tell her that you love her, it should be fine. If she thinks that that is too little or expects more from you, then she is obviously only dating you because she wants presents... so beware...
