To get of a bruise quickly use toothpaste. I don't know how it works but it does. Use toothpaste with a whitening agent in it and at first the bruise will get worse but will quickly disappear in around 3-4 days. Much better then waiting the usual 2 weeks.

To deal with a bruise, the best thing you can do to make it heal quiker it to avoid hitting it or hurting it. There's not much you can do for it. Just leave it alone and it will go away in its own.

There is not much that you can do to help a bruise; it must go away on its own. Ice and ibuprofen may help, tho.

Well, you can either get a straw and suck it up, build a bridge and get over it or get a full cup with a lid... And shut the full cup

You banged your shin very hard and have a lump and pain but no bruise?

No. It has a lump, pain, and a bruise! I now pay better attention when I am walking. If I were to interpret this question, I would guess it means: Why didn't my shin bruise when I banged it, but a lump formed and it hurts?! A bruise will only form if a blood vessel is damaged. Tissue damage anywhere (shin included) will cause an inflammatory response (LUMP and PAIN). You damaged tissue, but no blood vessels.

Can you bruise your eyeball?

Yes. Believe it or not, it is possible to bruise your eyeball. Rubbing your eyes too much or even poking your eye with your finger on accident can cause a bruise. However, this bruise is not visible. If it is not accompanied by other symptoms then it is most likely a bruise. Please be sure to visit your physician if the pain persists, or if the pain is accompanied by other symptoms.

Can a bruise not hurt?

A bruise does not always hurt. In fact, most don't. Pain would come from the underlying injury, not from the bruise itself. A bruise is simply blood in tissues from small broken blood vessels.

How long does the pain from a cortisone shot take to stop hurting?

Because a shot (injection) goes a tiny bit deeper than forces that cause a regular bruise, the bruising may be lower in the skin layers. A regular bruise can take about 7-10 days. One around an injection site might take 7-14 days.
