It may depend on the hatchery - they may show which breed each chick is, or they might actually differentiate male and female. Our straight run chicks didn't come with any tags, so I'm speculating. I'd recommend checking with the hatchery to see (or if you got them at the feed store, ask there, or ask which hatchery they got them from so you can contact them directly).
I assume you mean "straight run" chicks witch refers to un-sexed, they are not hens they could be rooster or hens.
; straight run : Chicks that are sold without being sexed first, i.e., male and female mixed together. In theory, a straight run of chicks will give you 50% of each gender, but it doesn't usually work out that way.
St Run stands for "straight run". When ordering chicks, there is a choice. You can receive [1] all males/roosters/cockerels, [2] all females/pullets/hens, or [3] straight run which is a mixture of the sexes where you won't know how many of each you will get.
Strait run means that they dont know if the eggs/chicks/ducklings are boys or girls.
Standard when ordering straight run chicks is 50% male to female. Straight run means un-sexed birds. It is like a lottery, you may get more cockerels than pullets on one order of 25 and the opposite way on another. If your birds are for egg laying only you would be best to order the slightly more costly pre-sexed birds.
Straight run when ordering chicks means they are not sexed prior to shipping. This method of ordering chicks makes it slightly easier for the hatchery, a bit less expensive for you and will result in a mixed bag of male/female birds. Most hatcheries will only guarantee a fifty percent mix.
Depending on the state, I believe they can 'run' the tags without reason, to verify validity of the plate and /or tag.
A straight run is a 1:1 ratio of males and females, or an equal amount of each. A "pullet" is a female. The 1:1 is an 'average'. The actual ratio varies. When purchasing chicks the true count comes out of what ever hatches. Eggs are hatched 10,000 to 100,000 at a time. If there are more females to males in that hatch you get more females..... You get a straight run by them pulling your 25, 50 or 100 from those. No one actually sexes that many birds without an order for all males or all females.
Discuss the detriment of using deprecated tags on an XHTML page. What issues can someone run into with continued use of these tags?
Run means run the applocation straight away Save mean save the file but do not open
My guess is that by "these tags" you mean tags that are depreciated. Use of these tags could lead to content not being displayed correctly, or not being displayed at all. They work with the current version of HTML, but future versions will no longer support them. This will frustrate users and cause you to lose site traffic.
Dogs don't run straight because they have four legs. It is too hard for them to run straight so they run in zigzags.
