To remove the guide pins from a Teves caliper, first ensure the caliper is securely mounted or supported. Use a suitable socket or wrench to unscrew the guide pins, typically a hex or Torx type, turning counterclockwise. If the pins are stuck, apply penetrating oil and allow it to soak before attempting removal again. Once removed, inspect the pins and caliper for wear or damage before reassembly.
