You need a good jack to raise the car and a lug wrench or spider wrench to get the nuts off and on again.
In some cases you may need a pry bar or mallet to get the wheel loose from the hub after the lug nuts are removed. Some modern cars have a very tight fit between the centering hole in the wheel and the spindle hub.
