In order to get the right answer i need to know (front or rear)
Changing your own front brake pads can save hundreds of dollars. Tools needed for the job are a jack, the brake pads, lug wrench, socket wrench, and brake fluid.
basic tools are all that are needed its a simple job. They are disc type brakes. If you can do the front, then you can do the rear.
You need special tools to remove the clutch, only a dealer or a/c repair shop has the needed tools to do the job. ( Besides the know how to do it correctly )
tools you need for job
7mm
You will need a special tool to compress the rear brake piston, other than that, regular tools that any car handyman has.
I just did this today and the "special" tools I found I needed were: a 7mm hexagonal (six-sided) bit socket (one that will fit onto a ratchet...there isn't enough room to use a hexagonal head screw driver) and that's really it. I assume that you have a ratchet set with metric sockets, brake lube, pads etc. This is an easy job don't worry.
Drum brake removal is a job which requires certain tools and some experience or knowledge on how to do it along with a place to perform this activity.
Can someone help me with the same promble.. how do you change the front brake pads and what tools do you need to do the job
If you don;t know how to use the tools, don't do the job
