Boston is close to a number of other cities and towns. If you drive west, you will be in Framingham and Natick, and eventually in Worcester (45 miles away). If you drive north, you will be in Revere, Lynn, Peabody and Marblehead. Boston is also not that far from Lowell and Fitchburg.
