Either the A or C (of the A-C-E, the blue line) or the 4 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line) or the 3 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line).

If you take the A or C train: you will get on at Utica Avenue in Brooklyn, and you will get off at the Broadway-Nassau Street Station. You will exit the subway on Fulton Street, between Broadway and Nassau Street.

Walk half a block west to Broadway, and turn left. Walk 3 blocks south on Broadway to Liberty Street. 146 Broadway is near the corner of Broadway and Liberty Street.

If you take the 3 train: you will get on at Utica Avenue, and you will get off at the Fulton Street Station of the 2 and 3 trains. You will exit the subway on Fulton Street, near the corner of William Street.

Cross William Street and walk 2 blocks west on Fulton Street, until you get to Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and walk 3 blocks south to Liberty Street.

If you take the 4 train: you will get on at Utica Avenue, and you will get off at the Fulton Street Station of the 4 and 5 trains. You will exit the subway at the corner of Fulton and Broadway.

Walk 3 blocks south on Broadway until you get to Liberty Street.

Jamaica station is connected to the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue subway station.

There are two Utica Avenue stations: one on the A and C trains (of the A-C-E, the blue line), at Utica Avenue and Fulton Street, and one on the 3 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line) and 4 train (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line). The station is called the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station, at Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway.

These two stations are not far apart (maybe a mile), and getting to the one on the A and C is a much shorter trip than getting to the one on the 3 and 4. But I will give directions to both in case the Crown Heights one is closer to where you're going and you don't want to walk.

To get to the one on the A and C lines, take the J-Z from Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue to Broadway Junction. Transfer at Broadway Junction to the Manhattan-bound A or C to Utica Avenue.

To get to the one on the 3 and 4, take the J-Z to Chambers Street in Manhattan. The Chambers Street station on the J-Z is connected to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station on the 4-5-6. Transfer at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to the Brooklyn-bound 4 to Utica Avenue.

How can you get to 225 Cadman Plaza from Hancock Street in Brooklyn by subway?

Depending on where on Hancock Street you're coming from, you can get on the C train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) at Rockaway Avenue, Ralph Avenue, Utica Avenue, Kingston-Throop Avenues, Nostrand Avenue or Franklin Avenue. The cross street for all of these stations is Fulton Street.Or, you can get on the A train at Utica Avenue or Nostrand Avenue.Take the A or C to High Street. There is a 225 Cadman Plaza East and a 225 Cadman Plaza West. If you're going to US District Court East, then it's Cadman Plaza East, but just in case, I will give walking directions to both. You'll get off the train at Cadman Plaza East, which forms the eastern border of Brooklyn War Memorial Park. To get to 225 Cadman Plaza West, walk west to Cadman Plaza West, and north to 225 (which should be at or near the intersection of Cadman Plaza West and Middagh Street). To get to 225 Cadman Plaza East, walk south on Cadman Plaza East to 225.
