I'm not sure which you're going to, so I'll give walking directions to both.Transfer from the M to the F at any of the following stations: Forest Hills-71st Avenue (this is actually the end of the line, so you wouldn't need to transfer, but just board the F instead of the M), Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, 47th-50th Street-Rockefeller Center, 42nd Street-Bryant Park, 34th Street-Herald Square, 14th Street, West 4th Street, Broadway-Lafayette Street or Essex-Delancey Street.Take the F to York Street. Take the Q to 59th Street-Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Transfer there to the Uptown R train, 1 stop, to Queens Plaza. Then exit the subway and walk 2 blocks along Queens Plaza South (where the Queensboro/59th Street Bridge runs) to 28th Street. The Q100 bus stops at 28th Street and Queens Plaza South, and travels over the Rikers Island Bridge to the Rikers Island Visitors Center.Note that Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza are two completely separate stations. The N and Q and stop at Queensboro Plaza. Only the R stops at Queens Plaza.
