It should be a TH700-R4
My 1985 scottsdale 4x4 w/ 305cid and TH700r4 tranny gets about 10.5 mpg.
Typicaly, If it is an over-drive it will be a TH700-R4. if it is a 3 speed auto then a TH350.
I have a 91 also. For 4h i put the tranny in neutral even though you don't have to and then shift the lever to 4h then the tranny back into drive. For me it seems to activate faster if i put the truck in neutral instead of shifting on the fly. For 4L you have to put the tranny in neutral and shift from 2H to 4L quickly without stopping it in neutral otherwise the gears will grind. Once its in 4L you can put the tranny back into drive and your good to go.
replacing oil pump 4x4 silverado 2500
yes
No, Not even close. The wiring harness in the 96 is all together different then the 91.
A 4L60E would not fit on a 91 Silverado because of the different dimensions.
YES they are the same.
You can if the 1990 truck is a 4x4.
yes but u have to change the tranny to and take out 4x4 or you can buy exspensive adapters to keep the tranny and 4x4 stock Where can i find the adapters?
I have a 91 chevy 2500 4x4 pick up with a 5.7 motor which I was told the tranny is a 4L80 and thats the only tranny that will work in my truck so if thats true what year of other trucks will work for me in my truck?
What different transmissions come in the 98 silverado 5.7 4x4 and
