Dont know but the F40 transmission (out of Pontiac g6-6spd) bolts right on to the LS4. LS4 is basically same engine, change a few things on it like exhaust headers, intake etc (using LS1 parts) and you will get same power. Some guys mate the F40 to the LS1 using an adapter plate...but why waste $ when LS4 can be found for $1,000, is newer and will have less KMs on it.
FWD (4T80E)
YES, They are the same bolt pattern.
If you mean wheels or transmission, trans no, wheels even if its the same its a bad idea b/c the barette is fwd and the offsets are different.
Rear?..RIGHT or LEFT..PASSENGER or DRIVER side..No rear motor mount unless you have it in a FWD car..
Not at all. Two completely different blocks
Yes a turbo block and the na block are the same except for a small oil thing. Everything else is the exact same, just different internals
Anything is possible but on a 1st gen the body is molded differently lots of fab but it can be done, is it worth it? Probaly not. now you can however easily swap in a turbo motor/trans. 2g eclipses/ talons are basically direct bolt in for the awd swap
as long as they are both removed from a fwd. or a rwd will fir a rwd. but not a fwd to a rwd
No it is FWD.
no it is fwd
Buy the links and either use a saws all or torch to cut the old ones off. Then bolt on the new ones.
