Normally they still used dexron, and I would put a additve that is made to reduce friction because of the weight of your vehicle
I went to Lincoln Tech Auto school and the Professor in my Automatic Transmissions class told me the best thing to do, to clean out your engine is to put Automatic Transmission fluid in it and run it over the weekend and then change it out with regular motor oil.

Why would you change the Oil viscosity just because you made it a little longer? Oil called for is Synthetic 5W-40 European Engine Oil. If you concerned that is to lite then you could use SAE 15W-40 Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Motor Oil. It is excellent oil and will work fine in a Gasoline engine. Hope this helps.
About 5 or 6 for automatic transmission, up to 9 on manual transmissions. 5 or 6 in town upto 12 highway

They all use automatic transmissions anymore. For Type B, C, and D school buses, the Allison automatics are most commonplace. Usually an Allison 1000 series transmission. For Type A school buses, it'll depend on what the chassis manufacturer typically uses... a Type A school bus on a General Motors chassis which can still be reasonably expected to be in service will have, depending on model year, a 4L80E, Allison 1000, or 5L70E, or 6L80E, for example.
Automatic or Manual ? Automatic- the least expensive method is to approach a local school with an Automotive program specializing in Automatic Transmissions , that is if time is not an issue - it may take several weeks or months - next cheapest method is a reputable Automatic Transmission rebuilder, have them install a rebuilt into your vehicle. I have had some junkyards (good ones ) do some good and reasonable work on automatics too. Ask around friends relatives etc Manual Trans - same basic answer - if time is not an issue try a good used transmission installed at a junk yard - Rebuilt manual transmissions can be very expensive depending on the vehicle (ie 4 wheel drive) Good luck
In an alternate universe where defunct schools in Superior WI were not demolished, the list would likely include schools such as Central High School, Webster Elementary School, and East End Elementary School. These buildings would exist as historical landmarks or repurposed community spaces, preserving their architectural and educational significance.
No, Harley Davidson doesn't. A company company called Ridley does make anautomatic cruiser. They are a bit pricey. You can modify your bike for an automatic shift or air... They are after markey products, Harley Davidson can order this for you. You could do the old school style shifter, or jockey shift.
