Recommended Transmission Fluid for Chrysler vehicles is ATF +3 or +4. Start the engine to normal operating temperature, check the fluid level, if it is at the add mark, add as much as you think is necessary, then shift the transmission through all the gears, counting to five at each one, all the way from park to low, then back up. Check the level again and repeat the procedure if more is needed. Be careful not to overfill the transmission.
