Use only Genuine Mitsubishi Car Care Products Diamond ATF SP III to avoid Torque Converter Shudder and failure. I learned the hard way. My local repair shop, a NAPA repair shop, used Ultralube Transtex ATF Premium Dexron III/Mercon Performance. This fluid caused violent Torque Converter Shudder which if not immediately flushed out could have led to failure. After flushing and replacing with Diamond ATF SP III, the Shudder is eliminated. I am now working with my credit card company to get my money back for this shoddy service.
