If you don't want any PROBLEMS and would like for the engine and transmission to work RIGHT. Then You MUST put the 4L60E transmission back in it. If you put any other kind of transmission in it you will have nothing but PROBLEMS due to the computer system / ECM that camefactory in the 94 truck.

The best pickup truck to buy would the the smaller ones that allow you to haul items. With the price of gas to do not want to get a huge truck or that would not keep the cost down. You would want to get something like a Chevy small truck.
