∙ 13y agoThe suffragists wrote letters, lectured and organised petitions to gain support for votes for women. They took part in massive processions and demonstrations in London in order to persuade the government to consider the idea. They also used effective Propaganda. This eventually led to the vote being given in 1918 to the majority of women.
