Ground beef is very popular when it comes to making dinner. I recently found my new favorite recipe for what I call un-sloppy Joes. This can be found at www.pillsbury.com
ground beef ground
E. coli 0157-H7
ground beef = Rinderhackfleisch ground beef = Hackfleisch
The reason why is to kill the bacteria & prevent salmonella
Normally found in Beef and vegetable's. :+)
As the meat is ground up, it is more subject to bacteria as it is pushed through the grinder. With the bacteria in the meat, if the hamburger is not cooked thoroughly a person could get sick from the harmful bacteria that enter the human's digestive tract. However beef steak is not ground up, it is simply cut from the carcass and wrapped, which implies that a steak should be cooked well on the outside, but in the inside it is perfectly fine if it is cooked rare to medium rare.
surface area = greater availability to nutrients
Chicken and eggs commonly contain salmonella. Ground beef is commonly contains E.coli. Both should be cooked thoroughly and any raw products should be handled carefully. Be sure to wash your hands after handling and watch that you do not cross contaminate other foods, utensils or surfaces.
Beef comes from cows. Ground beef is beef put through a meat grinder. Ground beef can be used to make hamburgers or meatballs or other dishes.
