A chevy 3500 truck is not front wheel drive, so it does not have CV joints.
Not sure, but I hear they are pressed on!
If its 2 wheel drive, you will need a press. Those ball joints are pressed into the upper and lower control arms. If it is 4 Wheel drive you need to remove the rivets with either an air chisel or to drill them out.
i used to work for a Chevy dealer....if you already put new hinge pins and bushings in you now have to replace hinges that have to be welded in
it is tack welded so u have to grind weld loose
Its welded.

The 2007 Chevy truck dash will bolt into a 1998 Chevy truck if both vehicles are the Silverado version of the truck. The dash is different for the lower versions of the interior options.
This is fairly labor intense and can be somewhat dangerous. Pick up a Chilton's for the info and safety measures to take.
