When the yeast bread has completely cooled, wrap in an airtight plastic bag, plastic wrap or aluminum foil. This may cause crusty breads to soften a bit. Store at room temperature up to 2 days. Do not store bread in the refrigerator.
If the bread is fresh to begin with, it won't be a problem to freeze it without compromising the quality of it. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, then wrap that in aluminum foil for further protection against drying out and freezer burn.
