Cell references in a formula don't change if they are moved. Relative references will change if they are copied. Mixed references may change, depending on the type of mixed reference and which direction they are copied.
Relative references. That is the standard setting for cells that enables formulas to be copied and changed as they do so.

The cell reference will maintain itself if it is an absolute cell reference. This is being done by having two dollar signs, one before the cell column and one before the cell row, like this: $F$3

When the clutch pedal changes position, it usually indicates the need for a new clutch...but... You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:)
