take it out, buy a new one and put it in
Mobil 1 new life 0w-40
First you have to take it apart to see what is broken then you can determine how to fix it.

Take it into the shop. It's a whole lot easier.
Take a pair of pliers and find the cable pull down should open (pull Hard)
u can rest ur engine timing just take cables of battries for one houre then it will be automaticly rest
On my 1998 E320 I occasionally have a wrong oil level indication. I haven't thought it important enough to take it to a dealer. I service my own car so I keep an eye on the variouis fluid levels.
My 1998 E320 Wagon has 147,000 miles on it, I live in LA, CA and use straight 40 weight. There are also answers in your owner's manual. Motor oil is also graded with indications on the container.
