It is most likely some type of cyst. You should have the lump looked at by your local doctor to rule out anything serious.Ê

The cyst will be a bump (or a lump) that will give a little with some pushing. Cysts are commonly found near joints, sometimes developing in the spaces between joints. I have a cyst in my wrist, and I personally know somebody who has a cyst on the top of her hand and somebody who has a cyst on the side of her wrist. I have also heard of cysts being found on the foot.

Make an appointment with your doctor so they can check it. If it looks like a tumor they may order a biopsy. It could also be a benign cyst. There are many possibilities. A doctor's opinion is the best place to start.
possibly, but you are much more likely to have a small abscess or cyst under the skin. See your doctor, and have it aspirated (sucked out), lanced, or excised, then you will know for sure! Hope that helps! Aj :) It is probably a glandular tumor. I suggest getting checked out by a doctor.
It could be a lot of things such as a thyroglossal duct cyst, branchial cleft cyst, thyroid nodule, lymph node (which may be serious or harmless), or other cysts and skin masses. Seeing exactly where it is and examining it will go a log way to telling what it might be. If it has been present for 6 months it is time to let a doctor look at it.
This is probably a cyst, particularly if it is large and doesn't appear to be contiguous with the mammary system.
