It is good for my 1997 Dodge Caravan 3.0 L engine
Yes
If you are considering maintaining your 1991 Dodge Caravan some good websites to look at for parts are: www.autopartswarehouse.com www.autobodypartsonline.com
Dodge Caravans are great vehicles, just as long as it has a V6 engine and a 4-speed transmission. I have a 1996, the 3.0L engine is strong, but I unfortunately have the 3-speed transmission, which are absolutely terrible, but uncommon.
No, I just took my 2003 caravan in today (9/28/09) and it failed (NC inspection also). Good luck!
Well that would be a good thing in order to have fuel sent to the engine. what seems to be the problem?
In certain climates, yes.
Noises are impossible to correctly diagnoise unless you hear them. TAke it to a good diagnoistition.
if he doesnt know how then he must not be a very good mechanic, i have a 92 Spirit, same engine and trans as your caravan, that's if your packing the 2.5L engine... the speedsensor in the back should have the speedometer built
I took a couple of seconds & entered a Google search on: 2004-5 Dodge Caravan Mileage Estimates & GOT: a PERSONAL OFFERING from a Caravan owner: 17-21 MPG in town & his best of 26 MPGs on the Highway. I cannot verify and offer only a hint for the questioner to do the same on Google, with Dodge/Chrysler & anyplace else he cares to look. GOOD LUCK. Mr. FUEL FIX I heard that someone add an HHO system to a caravan and got 28 mpg city and 41 mph hiway. I will try to comfirm this as I would love to get this mileage.
Just out of curiousity, how is the transmission in this vehicle. Could the transmission be out of sync with the engine? This has happened to me when i had the transmission replaced in a dodge caravan, Good Luck
Any good brand of 10W-30 will do.
