I know it's wild, but they actually use gasoline. Gas is something like air or hydrogen, or even nitrogen, so you're bike already sucks that stuff up the intake. The gasoline you need to mix with the air can just be premium pump gas.
The quicker 2 stroke dirt bikes use a gas/oil mix. Most bikes you see on the road are 4 stroke and use regular gasoline.
My opinion, no. You have to mix gas for the two stroke, and two stokes are not as powerful.
They will run (poorly) on it. Four stroke engines have a sump to hold the oil so none is needed in the fuel
Most common is inadequate oil mixture or straight gas in the tank, also overreving.
Most motorcycles run on Gasoline. 4 strokes take regular pump gas (unless otherwise specified) and 2 strokes typically run on a mix of pump gas and 2 stroke oil. Road bikes are typically 4 stroke and dirt bikes are typically 2 stroke, but there are exceptions. There are some rare diesel motor cycles, but I'm sure you'd know if you had one.
a gas engine
The gas used is the same. You just need to be sure that neither one of them are 2 cycle. Or that they both are 2 cycle. Most lawn mowers are 4 stroke whcih means they use the straight gas right out of the pump. Dirt bikes can use straight gas or gas mixed with oil.

I could be both a 4 stroke runs on regular gas and a 2 stroke runs on a gas oil mixture.
32TO1MEANING 32OZ 2STROKE OIL TO ONE GALLON GAS.THAT IS RATIO FOR ALL RACING 2STROKE BIKES. first off this is WAY WRONG! 32 to 1 means 32 parts gas to one part oil or 1/32 of a gallon of oil to one gallon of gas. also, this is NOT the ratio for all race bikes. follow the owners manual or call a dealership and they will be able to tell you what the ratio is for that model. yes, some 2 stroke dirt bikes are 32-1 but some are a higher ratio. i have used synthetic 2 stroke and have ran safely at 50-1 which was recommended by a tech that builds and races dirt bikes. i have been riding 2 stroke dirt bike (and snowmobiles) for over 30 years so i just may know what i'm talking about, roaddog
there is no such thing as a 1 stroke only 2 and 4
a 2 stroke in the end is a better choice. yes it is true that a 4 stroke gives you more power, and it doesn't over heat as easy, but a 2 stroke will cost you less money to fix, less money on oil and gas, plus a 2 stroke has better initial speed, and a higher speed band. ^^ Actually 4 stroke MX bikes are the ones that are prone to overheating, and if you dump a 4 stroke after an hour in the woods, good luck getting it started again.
