i would suggest jet glue, or super glue, jet glue is avalible at hardware stores and super glue is available every where. Don't glue your fingers together!
ANS 2 - Super glue is no god for shoe repairs ! -Use Goop Shoe Glue - in a tube, cheap, works great, available at most stores like Walmart, HD, Canadian Tire, etc
