A Business Administration degree refers to a collection of majors (business related). For example: Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Operations. So the jobs would be (in order) Accounting/Bookeeping/Recordkeeping, any Low to Mid-Level Management Position, Marketing/Advertising Management, Financial Officer/Loan Officer/Stockbroker, and Operations/Production Manager/General Manager
Basically, having a degree will not qualify for you anything unless you have experience or you know so one who can you get you a job- especially in this day in age. Networking is key - the more experience you have and the bigger network you are in the more jobs you will qualify for. I have a degree in BA and I am currently working as an assistant controller for an insurance agency - I got the job because my Father knows the owner relatively well. My best advice is not to settle for low pay but now to expect to land a 100K a year job. Get experience and make sure it is the right kind of experience. Also, BA is extremely broad which is both good and bad- bad in the fact that you don't have a specialty unless you minored in something. Again, this is all opinion based on my own personal life experiences. Hope this helps you in some way - and Good luck!
