Composite volcanoes can contain a wide variaty of magmas ranging from basaltic to rhyolitic.
A volcano is a weak spot in the crust where magma (Molten Material) comes to the surface. Once magma reaches the surface, it is lava. Volcanoes form along spreading boundaries, which are marked by mid-ocean ridges. A composite volcano's eruptions differ from explosive to quiet, because lava flows alternate with explosive eruptions.
There are many different hazards from volcanic eruptions, whether it was quiet or explosive. During a quiet eruption, lava pours out of the volcanic vents and this can cause a fire, and bury everything in its path. Hot clouds of ash, cinders, bombs, and deadly gasses come out from a volcano during an explosive eruption. When wet, ash that is very heavy can cause roofs to collapse, or fall over. Entire towns can be buried by the ash volcanoes produce. Ash is the most deadly thing that a volcano can produce. Landslides and avalanches also occur frequently.
The type of material erupted from a composite volcanoes varies widely. Basaltic, andesitic, dacitic, rhyolitic, phonolitic, trachytic, latitic, and carbonatite lavas have all erupted from compsite volcanoes. Often, though, compsite volcanoes don't erupt lava but spew ash and pumice into the air.
A composite volcanoe has the most violent eruption of all volcanoes. It will inflict serious damage on nearby areas. Their eruptions contain poisonous gasses, solid masses, ash clouds, and lava flows.
magma is one and it erupts whenever it wants to and it can get to 2500m in height
Composite volcanoes usually erupt explosively.
The eruption style of a stratovolcano(composite) volcano is usually effusive or explosive.
It Doesn't have a eruption
pag toon oi!!
There are different modes of eruption. Composite volcanoes are best known for explosive eruptions that send out plumes of ash, gas, and pumice. At other times they send out lava flows which may not resemble the typical conception of a lava flow. And still at other times a composite volcano can produce lava viscous enough that it builds into a dome rather than flowing away.In very large explosive eruptions composite volcanoes can collapse in on themselves, forming a large crater called a caldera.
No. Not all volcanoes produce loud explosions. Some are fairly quiet and some don't even make any noise at all, they just slowly pour out the lava and spray the ash about.
Volcanoes can be active or inactive. When a volcano is active there is magma or lava moving around getting ready to make an explosion. When a volcano is inactive there is either rocks and bits of other stuff melting in the main vent making magma getting ready to become active or they are not doing anything, just sitting there like a mountain. The four main types of volcanoes are shield volcanoes, composite volcanoes, also called stratovolcanoes, cinder cones, and lava domes. Composite volcanoes are the most abundant, and an example is Mount Fuji in Japan. These volcanoes are formed from layers of ash. In contrast, shield volcanoes are gently sloping volcanic mountains built almost fully of lava flows. They were named on account of their shape , which is reminiscent of an ancient warrior's shield. These volcanoes are typically much larger then composite volcanoes. Lava domes and Cinder cones are much smaller than shield or composite volcanoes.Thats what some of the Volcanoes are!
Well, it could make the crater bigger. Or make it bigger. Or cause a caldera (a crater with collapsed walls)
Volcanic eruptions occur only in certain places and do not occur randomly. ... Volcanoes occur most frequently at plate boundaries
Ash and Gas make composite volcanoes erupt i believe

will make the people threaten, fuddled, heated kind of hazard
Did you know that composite volcanoes make up 60% of the Earths volcanoes. Composite volcanoes don't always have to erupt from the top. They can have many magma chambers and can erupt from the sides. They can be made of basalt, rhyolite and/or andesite. They erupt both ash and lava. The lava is very thick. When the time comes for the volcano to erupt they start to become very quiet. (Sneaky eh?)
active volcanoes release gases ash and lava. they make tremes or earthquakes and have a history of eruptions. the ground temperature increases and bulges appear on surface. dormant volcanoes don't have much happening. now and then it releases earthquakes. it has a history of eruptions and it could erupt again. extinct volcanoes cannot erupt again. it is done and finished. it no longer has gases and/or magma
Volcanoes take thousands of years to make by tectonic plates converging and diverging, the necessary pressure for some volcanoes to erupt takes hundreds to thousands of years to build up. Some volcanoes are constantly eruptive, these eruptions having little explosive properties, other volcanoes don't erupt for thousands of years.
they make new land and the volcanic ash from the volcanoes is goof for plant life and the plants grow much quicker.
If you are talking about underwater volcanoes, than i have a answer. So, when underwater volcanoes erupt it MIGHT be able to create a island like Hawaii. Hawaii was made because of an eruption underwater.
