∙ 10y agoChickens will eat any type of leaf it can get hold of. With my chickens, they do not like mature bean plant leaves or coffeebean leaves. They really don't like mature leaves in general. They have a highly sophisticated group of taste buds in their mouths (even on the roof of the mouth), that will tell them what's good and what's bad. My chickens especially like honeysuckle leaves, any "greens" vegetable (chard, mustard, etc.), all types of grasses, practically all weeds and peach tree leaves. Chickens in your area will show you what local leaves they can safely eat.
