Use the exact weight recommended by Chevrolet. Listed in your owners manual and more than likely on the oil fill cap. Use any major brand as they are all excellent. You can use synthetic or conventional, your choice. I personally see no benefit to synthetic unless you operate the vehicle in extreme climates.
