The GT500 Suzuki uses 2 kinds of oil. Any premium grade 2-stroke oil can be used for the injection reservoir tank on the right side of the bike, just under the seat. (silver cap)

For the crank case you should use a 10w40 oil that is specifically designed for motorcycle engines. Since the crank case oil also flows through the clutch, this oil cannot contain modern friction modifiers which will cause clutch slippage. AMSOIL 10w40 is recommended by about 90% of sources on the internet. It runs about $10 a quart. The crank case holds 1 and 1/2 qts. (3 pints) and is filled through the rubber stopper on top of the right side of the engine.
