i use 20w50 because its thick and lubes real nice

10w-40 ATV oil for wet clutches is always a safe bet for quads.

I just filled mine up with valvoline 5/30 senthetic,and used 2 quarts..check on your dipstick to make sure.
I have used both 10w40 and 10w30 with good results, suggest no sythethics oil or blends this could cause rougher shifting in the 1986 thru 1989 honda 300 or 350D. I prefer castrol 10w40 in my 1988 350D.
