5w30 full synthetic. You can also use straight HD30 weight detergent oil if temperatures are above 50 degrees.
A Briggs and Stratton 17.5 horsepower engine can use any type of small engine motor oil. A heavy duty motor oil is recommended.
SAE 10W30 synthetic oil.
SAE30
Basically all Briggs engines call for a high quality 30Wt
SAE 10w30 Synthetic.
Depends on what type of engine it has. If it is a Briggs and Stratton or Tecumseh, then use 30 weight oil. If its honda, use 10w30
In moderate temperatures, as in a lawnmower used in summer, most will use straight 30W oil.
It is a little thick. You should use sae30 or 10w30 (on cold temperature)
I recommend you use synthetic oil in any air cooled engine. If you only use it in warm weather then use SAE 30W oil. If you use it in cold weather use SAE 10w30 oil. It holds 20 ounces.
Briggs and stratton engines use different oils depending on the temperature to which the engines will be used. Generally sae30 oil should be used for mower engines
If it is a 4 cycle engine use SAE 30 weight 100% synthetic.
Use whatever type of oil the user manual specifies.
