Depends on what type of engine it has. If it is a Briggs and Stratton or Tecumseh, then use 30 weight oil. If its Honda, use 10w30
Don't know that you can find a manual online except for purchasing it from Sears. Here is a link to the Sears parts website. Enter you model number in the field provided and click search. You will find the part numbers for every part of your lawn mower - including the part number for the manual you want. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action
I do not know what year my model 917.270930 lawn mower was built
Not too sure but I do know a Sears Model 300 barrel (their clone of the 1400) will not fit a 1400 action.
What engine is on this snow thrower I know it is a Briggs&Stratton engine but I need to know the model number.
More info is needed. Sears uses many different engines. We will need to know which engine is in the mower. There should be a tag or sticker on the top of the engine with the brand and HP.
You didn't say what make or model of engine you have, but most engines in that horsepower range use a spark plug gap of 0.030 inch. If you know the engine model number and manufacturer there is a listing of many engine specifications at http://outdoorpowerinfo.com/engine_specs/ .
i changed the belt on my 42' craftsman riding mower, belt route is right but may belt is burning up. I don't know if my levers are connected right.
Check and make sure the model number is correct since Sears does not seem to acknowledge that model on their parts web site. It would also be helpful to know what this is and about how old it is.
You can get them at any mower shop. Most Lowes and Home Depot stores will carry them also. You just need to know what engine is in the mower.
I am missing a few parts for a kentucky percussion rifle kit from Sears and Roebuck. Model #292.51766. Do you know where you can order these?
A model number is required just to know what brand (who made it) and then the rest of the mower.
Need to know the exact model. Typicall this will be marked on the left side of the barrel, in the format xxx.xxxx sales@countrygunsmith.net
